Welcome back to Zippy Ink
I have been wanting to have a play with Tim Holtz's Distress crayons for quite awhile. Like a lot of us I have the product sitting there waiting to be used. So I thought I would take the chance to share with you what what I got unto with them.
I saw that Tim had used his Ink palette trays to scribble out each colour of crayon and then you can water colour from there with a water brush or wet normal brush. whatever you have on hand.
So I set to scribbling them all out onto the palettes. I decided that I would do them in the order of the organising sheets that you can print from the Ranger Ink website.
I then pulled out our Magnolia laser cut and had a play. it was so easy and layering was the key to getting the colours how you want.
The advantage of having the crayons in the palette is that when I was finished I could close the lids and put them away and they are all ready to go for the next time I want to colour something.
I know there are many other uses for the crayons like on metal or wood etc and I will share once I get a chance to have a play. We do have the crayons and palettes available on the website if you would like to give this a go.
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by to see what we are up to.
