Make Today Count, Wrap Art Journal and Pouch.

This class is for the Attendees of the Luxury Scrapaway Retreat Weekend in Taupo

In this class, we will create a three-signature art journal that wraps up. Each signature is made up of multiple different substrates like denim, canvas, pastel paper, kraft paper, and tracing paper.

This makes it an ideal little book to try out products on different substrates and have some fun creating. 

We will be using sprays, inks, and stencils to create the wrapping cover of the album. you will colour the ribbon and decorate the button closure. We will hand-stitch the album, and signatures in.

You will also decorate the canvas drawstring bag, we will be using die-cuts, inks, rub-ons, embossing glazes and more.

Below are the inks and sprays  I used but any blue/green inks that you have will be fine. I will have one set of these in class for you to use but feel free to bring your own as there will be a wait in class to use.

Inks and Sprays I used: Distress Ink - Weathered wood, Peeled Paint, Barn door. Distress Oxide Scorched Timber.

Distress Spray ink - Peeled paint, Scorched Timber, Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Salvaged Patina. Distress Oxide Spray - Peeled Paint, Speckled Egg. 

I also used Distress embossing Glazes in Weathered wood, Peeled Paint, and Barn Door. I will have these for you to use.

Need to bring: Craft mat, Trimmer, Glue, Ink Blending Tool, baby wipes and paper towels, water sprayer.
